Golestan Apartment biulding

The building is located in suburbs of sari in a new and luxurious neighborhood where apartments are allowed to be built. The apartments are designed to be sold to unknown customers. Thus, the design should be so that to be proper for every tastes. The weather in the north of Iran is humid in all seasons and hot in summers. Therefore, to tackle this problem there are openings in the north and the south of the building in front of each other to let the wind blow through the apartment and reduce the humidity and temperature. In order to reinforce the effect of wind blowing parts of the plan in the back and front of east side is eliminated to move windows towards each other and also create a space for a tree to be planted.
There is a big terrace on the north side of the building where the audience confront with the facade from the street. The terrace is one the attractive spaces in the apartment because it has facilities like hanged flower boxes in the same level with balcony to instill the feeling of a court, two moving brick panels which can move in a rail between terrace and the flower boxes to restrict the sight from outside, a barbecue and a dinning table. Additionally, the hanged flower boxes makes the facade more lively and charming by adding green plants all over it.
