Privacy and safety was The vital demand of the client in the first meeting for designing the house. Thus, the best solution to consider this request was an introverted house with a courtyard in the middle and provide accessibility to this yard for the practical spaces of house. Moreover, to avoid the humidity of north of Iran air-stream is a necessity. Therefore, openings are placed in the north and south of the house not only to bring the wind inside the house but also to let the sunlight enter from the south. There are green spaces in the north, middle, south and top of the building to instill a lively feeling to the habitants. In addition, the private spaces are situated in the south part of the plan, access spaces in the middle and public spaces in the north which are separated from each other by the courtyard.
The cubic mass of the building is covered by white brick. Although brick has been used traditionally on the facade in Iran, the pattern of the brick is innovative and it is installed with a new method. Furthermore, the patterned brickwork on openings and widows are hollow such that the sunken bricks of the pattern are removed. This not only provide air flow and sun light but also prevent from entry the house.
